This week we've been reading Little Bear by Else Holmelund Minarik because the chapter " Little Bear Goes to the Moon" is in our Treasures series. It's nice because the students can read this independently so they can concentrate more on their fluency and comprehension. They have been busy completing my Little Bear comprehension pack. Here's a look...
If you're interested, you can find my Little Bear pack on TPT ( here).
I'll be back soon with pictures from our ocean unit!!
I looks awesome. I just found your blog & I'm your newest follower.

DeleteI'm putting this on my wishlist! I need to do DRA II testing at the end of the month. While I am testing one student, the other TWENTY-NINE students can do this independently and quietly (in theory)! ;)
ReplyDeleteSeriously, though-I have a 1/2 Blend, so I will have a few key helpers on standby, to help any students who need guidance. Looks great!
Yikes! 29! We are looking at 27-28 kids next year because we lost a section. I'm so scared to have that many. I had 28 my first year teaching but have been spoiled ever since. I may be needing some advice! :)
